"Well, we've been here about a week. And we all enjoyed our stay very much! It can't get any closer to being home. The kids really loved it here. I just want to thank you for everything and making our stay super comfy! Thank you, and we will see you again." (Cottage #10)

"This was our first time to stay in the North Country. I have to say it was fun. My son has enjoyed fishing in your brook from the deck. Other than the big 18 wheelers going by, we really didn't hear the other vehicles. We had a fire in the fire pit the first night. Rodney was very helpful and brought us our fire wood we purchased and a bucket of water. Nice place. Just wish the weather would have been a little bit better. Oh, well, it's New England! Not sure what we'll do today. It's cloudy with a chance of rain. . . . Well, it's still raining, so we went on a train ride and went shopping at the North Conway outlets. It was a nice stay. The house/cottage is really decorated cute. The host/hostess were very nice." (Cottage #10) Nina and Dan and kids, Nashua, NH
"Cabin #5 was great! It was just what we were looking for, clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and very reasonably priced. We had a wonderful time and will be back soon. Your hospitality was so genuine and heart warming. Thanks for a fabulous vacation that we could actually afford." (Cottage #5) Ken, Roberta, Andy, Allie, and Max (the pet), Cranston, RI
"After many jaunts by these cottages, and forever a "no vacancy" sign up, we decided to make reservations for this cottage a month in advance!! This place is quaint, quiet, and romantic. Beautiful scenery along the Kancamagus Highway. The Red Fox is the best place to eat in the area. We will always be back in the area. So friendly." (Cottage #2) Robert and Karen
"It looks like elves live here, Bill exclaimed. Cabin 8 has become affectionately known as our Hobbit House. We love it! It was everything we were hoping for. We're just sad it's so short a visit. We hope to be back." (Cottage #8) Bill and Karen, Port St. Lucie, Florida
"We're back again, 3 months later. We last came in November and stayed in #5 (Stargazer's Shire) with some friends. We had a great time then. This time we came with my family and they stayed in #5 while we booked this cozy cabin made just for two. We love it! It's adorable. We have a roaring fire going right now. Earlier we spent time at #5 with my mom, stepdad, and little brother. We played Uno and attempted to play Go Fish with the Uno cards. Then my boyfriend Adam had fun balancing many cabin items on his head while we took pictures. He was very successful! We plan to come back sometime over the spring or summer. This place is our favorite!! See you soon." (Cottage #2) Crystal and Adam, N. Andover, MA

"Thank you for another wonderful weekend. The R & R was well needed. We came up here for my birthday and our cat enjoyed it, too. He sat in front of the fireplace most of the time. When the fire got low, he'd look at us like "put another log on!" He's going to miss it. Thank you again! Hope to see you soon." (Cottage #1) Hank, Sherry, and Whitey B, Everett, MA
"This was our first trip to Sunny Brook Cottages. I made reservations as a Valentine's Day present for Jeff. We had a wonderful stay. It was very comfortable. We would definitely come here again. It was very romantic." (Cottage #4) Debra & Jeffrey, Somerset, MA
"This is our second visit. Both during cold season. Still the same. Love the peace and quiet. Fireplace is the best. Your cottages give you a real home feeling. Can't get that in a hotel. I consider this home away from home but coming from the city, this is a much better home. We don't have fresh air with a brook running in our back yard. Hope to visit again in the summer! See you soon." (Cottage #1) Sheila and Chris, Brockton, MA
"We would like to thank you. This place is awesome. It's peaceful. We enjoyed staying here at Sunny Brook. We will definitely be back. Our cocker spaniel Buddy says thank you also for allowing him to stay." (Cottage #4) Denise & MIchael, Wyoming, RI
"This was our second stay here and definitely not our last. We always wish we could stay longer. Cottage #9 was lovely - so cozy and beautifully done. We spent the day yesterday snowshoeing on the Kancamagus - Greeley Ponds 4 miles and earlier a quick hike up Sabbaday Falls. Such a sunny day with loads of fluffy snow. Although the winds were high and the temp dropped as the day went on, we stayed warm and sometimes hot keeping up our snowshoeing pace. Thanks, again! Can't wait to come back! My husband just said, "What else could you possibly need for a living space?" That's how great it is here!" (Cottage #9) Jenny and Adam, VT
"We set out on Friday for a weekend retreat
We'll spend the time reconnecting, how sweet!
Checked in at Sunny Brook, cottage number five.
This is our time to relax and revive.
Stars on the walls, paddle on the door,
Sheep on the quilt, who could ask for more?
Flames in the fireplace put us at ease.
We have food and wine and whatever we please.
Oh his guitar, he plays a love song.
The swift river babbles as it sings along.
The air's crisp and clean, the days filled with sunshine,
The weather's just perfect for my valentine.
Tomorrow we'll leave, me and my dear.
Before we head out, we'll reserve for next year."

"Chad and I have been together for five years. This is the first time we have ever gotten away together. Very quiet and romantic. The fireplace was right up Chad's alley. Love the sound of the brook outside, very peaceful. Still lots of snow so this time we went tubing. . . a fun time. Hope to come up in the summer to utilize the grill outside. Maybe bring the kids next time and go to Storyland, although a very romantic place to come for just us. See you soon." (Cottage #7) Abby and Chad, New Bedford, MA

"We are here on our honeymoon! There are so many cabins out there, we are so glad we ended up here with the kitchen and the fireplace and in a nice, peaceful spot away from all the tourist attractions. Everything is so comfortable and convenient. Jane was very friendly and helped us find our way around and recommended some good hikes for us. We hope we'll be able to return on our anniversary. Thank you so much!" (Cottage #6) Rosie and Bill, Nashua, NH
"On a whim we decided to look online and try and find something nice. This place is perfect!! We stayed last night and can't wait to plan a better trip. Many more nights will be spent here. My wife adores the family accommodations. Couldn't be easier. My 6-year-old son loved playing outside around the cottage. My 8-month-old daughter loved it as well. Not able to chase her brother yet, but soon enough. Personally, I loved everything. Thanks for a wonderful night." (Cottage #3) Peter, Anthony, Kristen, and Desolina
"Our daughter finished her first year of pre-school this year on Thursday. She woke up on Friday and packed her bags and said she was going on vacation. A quick search of the Web led us to this wonderful cabin village. What a great vacation! We saw a frog as big as our fist down by the river, brook trout, and all sorts of water insects. Thank you very much . We hope to come again next year." (Cottage #3) Sean, Liz, Nathaniel, Katie, Madeline, Harold
"We came up to the beautiful mountains for my 20th birthday yesterday, and it's honestly awesome! The brook is so clear and the cool mist coming off is brisk! I'm so happy my boyfriend made this whole trip just for me. It's romantic here! The energy flow here is calm and relaxing. Don't ever want to go back to the busy-bee city hive." (Cottage #8) Michelena, Marlborough, MA

"Tim and I escaped here for a mini-vaca to relax after a couple pretty stressful months. We've stayed in this cabin once before and in a different cabin before that. This place is kind of a "home away from home" to us. This time, however, we were able to bring our foster-dog Coco. He made the whole trip! Everything was perfect. The weather was 60-72 degrees the whole time which was perfect for hiking, kayaking, fishing, and playing games outside. Every morning, we brought our cups of coffee down to the brook as our morning ritual. Great way to start the day! After packing each day with some type of outdoor activity, we ended each night with a peaceful fire in the fireplace. We can't wait to come back later in the summer with my friend and her son and stay in cabin 9 for the first time. Thanks!" (Cottage #7) Brenda and Tim
"Our first visit and an enjoyable one. The privacy and serenity of cottage 9 was welcomed after a long ride getting here. We'd love to be here again in the summer months just to enjoy the outdoors, cooking on the barbeque and just enjoying the scenic brook. My wife loved the cabin, especially the knotty pine decor. I enjoyed the evenings, with the fireplace going and just kicking back and relaxing. Holly, our German Shepherd, thoroughly enjoyed exploring her new surroundings. We look forward to paying another visit down the line." (Cottage #9) Sharon and Steve, New Bedford, MA
"I would like to thank you both for your warm welcome. I found that being here was very relaxing and peaceful. I would recommend for anybody to come and stay. The knucklehead rules were great! We will be back again." (Cottage #6) Stacie and Mike |
