came here for our first anniversary, and we are so glad that we did!
Cabin 10 is great, so much room and comfortable. The fireplace was
great, but would be much more romantic in the bedroom. Jane and Rodney
took the time to add special touches such as leaving a bottle of
sparkling cider, etc. on the table with a tag wishing us a happy
anniversary. They also told us that upon check-in. They were so
thoughtful it touched us deeply. We also loved the games in the top
drawer. We played some Yahtzee instead of going out in the cold, great
touch! We plan on coming back when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the

finally made it back! We spent our honeymoon here back in Sept. ’04.
It was great then and it still is! We were in #3 and #6 back in Sept.
but I guess it doesn’t matter which one you are in. It’s great here!
Jane and Rodney are awesome hosts! This visit the temp was about 10
degrees! But we had wood waiting for us at the cabin when we got here!
And we got to sample Jane’s cookies! Those were yummy! We will be
back, hopefully sooner this time! We keep a pic at home of our honeymoon
trip here and at least once a week we say we wish we were back here!

a pleasant stay here in cabin #10 (Twig-stone). Came up here to go to
Storyland with the kids. They loved the swing set and hammock, even
more the Legos in the top dresser drawer. Went dining at the Homestead
in Conway. Came back to enjoy a few beers and wine coolers and peace
and quiet. A great place this is. We’d like to come here in the winter
to snuggle alone. Or maybe a quiet stay away from all the madness on
the Lincoln side of the Kancamagus for bike week. This looks like a
peaceful getaway all year round. It’s places like this that may thicken
the vital blood of your relationship with your woman and your family.”

were amazed how quaint and romantic cabin #4 is. Though it isn’t very
big, it’s just enough for two lovebirds. We had s’mores last night on
the open fire after spending the whole day at Echo Lake. It’s so nice

“Perry, Patti, and the two Chinook dogs (Raluk and Dukavik) return once
again to the Sunny Brook Cabins. This is our 6th visit, and
Raluk and Dukavik have a new little sister (Doonerak) to show around.
We are here for the Tamworth winter carnival, and there will be lots of
Chinook dogs and their owners giving dog sled rides and probably lots of
kisses (the dogs, not the owners). The weather outlook does not look
too optimistic, but it should be fun anyway. This is our second stay in
cabin #8. Each of the cabins has its own character and so far we have
enjoyed each one. Maybe over the next decade or so, we’ll get to stay

a lovely stay. Stumbled across Sunny Brook just over half way through a
two-week road trip around New England. A cozy log fire at the end of a
long day. I could quite happily stay here for the rest of our holiday.

though!) but will take away memories of a beautiful part of the world
and good fortune at finding No. 7 Dancing Bear for a few days. Simple,

fireplace for cold and a nice brook for the hot weather. They sure make

the dog, too. Not too many places will let you do that. Thanks. I

to Storyland. Trip #6 for us to Sunny Brook. We’ve been coming with our
7-year-old, Elliott, and this year we have the addition of our
twins—7-month-old Audrey and Edward. This place is so wonderful for
children, and there were several here this weekend. As usual, a weekend
just isn’t long enough for all we’d like to do. Looking forward to next
year. We asked Elliott if he’d like to stay at the Comfort Inn (has an
indoor pool and is next to mini-golf) and he said, “No way!” Out of the

with our two daughters and Buddy (the cat). The cottage is nice, cozy
and comfortable. A bit small for our family but we had a wonderful

place. Mr. and Mrs. Burrill, you have done a wonderful job with your
cottages and have a lot of hospitality which is a plus for me. We will
be back, only this time with no children and hopefully we can get cabin
3. The cottage is very clean and the linen is clean. What I like the

traditional cottage that brings to mind all kinds of nostalgic
reveries. It reminds us of cottages in French Bay or Bobcaygoon in
Ontario. The fireplace is lovely and it is so neat being able to view
it from the bedroom. The old pictures, various knick knacks as well as
the cluttered décor mimic the layering of memories stored here and in
this journal. It is so nice being able to share other people’s
memories. We are returning from spending a week in Prince Edward

it’s our first stay here in Sunny Brook Cottages. The last four times
we stayed at Nordic Village because our family had a condo there. So
this time we needed another place to stay and we’re very impressed with
how nice and convenient this cottage “Herbal Nook” is. We love it. It
makes us feel at home and we have the chance to live and cook on our
own. And the best is it’s affordable for us. With the kitchen in the
cabin we are not forced to go out for dinner.”
